There are twelve in the summer, but it is in fact about thirty of these waterfalls that one can admire in the spring when the snow melts. The Fer-\u00e0-Cheval is part of a nature reserve, and it is not uncommon to discover, clinging to the vertiginous cliffs, several ibexes, as well as marmots that warm themselves in the sun down in the valley. Pic de Tenneverge (2989 m) and Tour du Prazon (2929 m) dominates the hiker during the greater part of the itinerary.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"cap\" >The outing that I propose is easy. The only difficulty is the steep ascent over a hundred meters to reach Le Bout du Monde. But you can indeed stop before, as the beauty of the landscape is already sumptuous throughout the course. However, be careful: depending on the season, fording the numerous streams is not always easy. Therefore, I recommend that you take spare socks in case.<br \/>\n<script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><\/span><\/p>\n<p><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3567350517589380\" data-ad-slot=\"5784331615\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script><br \/>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<br \/>\n<\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Difficulty<\/strong>: Easy <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-710\" src=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/images\/bouton\/hiking-icon-facile.png\" alt=\"hiking-icon-moyen\"\/><\/li>\n<li><b>Altitude<\/b>: 1,222 m at the Bout du Monde<\/li>\n<li><b>Route<\/b>: 3 hours 30 min<\/li>\n<li><strong>Elevation Gain<\/strong>: 330 meters<\/li>\n<li><strong>Round-trip<\/strong>: 9.3 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Map<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/tracedetrail.fr\/index.php\/fr\/trace\/trace\/43625\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>IGN 3530 ET<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Restrictions<\/strong> : Dogs (after the Chalet du Prazon) and gathering prohibited. Bivouac allowed between 7 p.m and 9 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h4><strong>Getting There<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"first-child\">From Samo\u00ebns, take the D967 towards Sixt-Fer-\u00e0-Cheval and drive for about six kilometres to reach Fer-\u00e0-Cheval&#8217;s car park. Parking costs seven euros a day, but this one dispenses the hiker with an approach walk of about three kilometres to reach the starting point.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GPS Coordinates (WGS 84) of the Starting Point<\/strong> : <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/r2okYL621oo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">46.077278, 6.836917<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ascent<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"first-child\">From the car park, take the marked path going towards the &#8220;Bout du Monde&#8221;, which starts on the right-hand side of the chalet. After about ten minutes and a small steep climb, you will arrive on the left of a small pond whose transparent waters allow you to discover many trout. Continue along the path that leads into the forest, then cross a wooden bridge to reach the Chalet du Prazon further along the Giffre river. Continue then in the direction of Le Bout du Monde, leaving on the left the path that leads to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/hard-hikes\/vogealle.html\">Lac de la Vogealle<\/a>. Notice to the right in front of the chalet the small bridge that you will have to take on the way back. After about twenty minutes of walking, the Bout du Monde is reached.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Descent<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"first-child\">Go back to the chalet and start the return journey by taking the same path to the chalet du Prazon.
