Furthermore, the landscape is just magnificent. It is also the starting point of easy hikes like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/very-easy-hikes\/lac-roy.html\">Lac de Roy<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/snowshoe-hiking\/col-cordon.html\">Col de Cordon<\/a>, or harder as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/easy-hikes\/chalune.html\">Pointe de Chalune<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/intermediate-hikes\/marcelly.html\">Marcelly<\/a>. The Col de la Ramaz can also be taken from Sommand. Arriving at the Col de la Ramaz, continue the trail that goes down and reaches the chairlift of Pierre Rouge. From there, take the well-signposted footpath on the right to Pointe de Chalune and the Chalet Blanc.
