From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/hard-hikes\/lac-des-chambres.html\">Lac des Chambres<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/hard-hikes\/anterne.html\">Lac d\u2019Anterne<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/hard-hikes\/vogealle.html\">Lac de la Vogealle<\/a>, the massif is full of wonders for the noblest pleasure of the hiker. Situated on the other side of the Rocher des Fiz, on the site of the Grand Massif between Samo\u00ebns and Flaine, Lac de Gers is an attractive destination for family walks. After several switchbacks, take the road on the left descending towards the Pont de L\u00e9dedian. Park in the wide parking area near the bridge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GPS Coordinates (WGS 84) of the Starting Point<\/strong>: 46.050351, 6.719023<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ascent<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"first-child\">From the car park to the Pont de L\u00e9dedian, follow the \u201cLac de Gers\u201d track. Very quickly, it rises fairly steeply in the forest where most of the ascent takes place. After about an hour, one gets to the Chalets de Porte, under Pointe de Porte, giving to see a beautiful perspective on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randos-montblanc.com\/en\/very-hard-hikes\/buet.html\">Mont Buet<\/a> as well as La Cath\u00e9drale. After a new passage in the woods, the trail flattens out and leads to the peaceful meadow of Combe de Gers.
