Browsing the "Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes" Tag

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region extends over the Massif Central in the west and the Alps mountain range in the east. The latter offers a profusion of hikes that will delight the hiker in search of breathtaking landscapes. Among the most notable massifs in the Alps, we can mention in particular the Mont-Blanc massif in Haute-Savoie, a land of mountaineering par excellence, the Chartreuse massif and its limestone mountains, or the Beaufortain massif surrounded by the Bauges and Aravis.
